The Middleton Wheatley Foundation Trust
The Middleton Wheatley Foundation Trust
Many Wheatley residents will know of the existence of the Middleton Trust. This charity was set up in 1981 by Lord Middleton and funded by the proceeds from the sale of the old school.
It's objects are two fold:
1. To promote education within the Parishes of N & S Wheatley
2. To have particular regard to the promotion of religious education in the Parishes
Interest from the investment of the original sum is available to be distributed by the Trustees in support of the various charitable purposes that qualify under the terms of the Trust. Grants can be awarded to individuals or groups.
Five Trustees ( see below) meet three times a year to respond to applications made to the Trust and the provisional dates for 2011meetings are
March 4th; June 10th; and October 6th
The trustees would like to invite any organisation or individual who have a particular need and feels they fit the criteria to apply for a grant.
